One of the highlights of that episode was when Maine gave her surprise to Alden. A poem that will answer what Alden wrote during their 30th weeksary. After Maine said her piece, everyone was speechless. Most of us cried. We felt Maine's sincerity and her pain. For months, she tried to contain her feelings for him. She tried to read his actions, thinking if he's still acting or being himself. She observed his intentions and if that thin line between reel and real can be answered once and for all.The fact that Maine finally expressed her "true" feelings, was a brave move. Believe me, it was hard for Maine. But to end all speculations and negative write ups, what she did was the right thing.
For me, it was one of the most genuine episodes I've ever watched. Coming from a person who barely expresses ones self gathered all her courage just to speak up on national television. That alone for Maine is not an easy thing to do. But she did it. She did it to keep herself intact. She did it so it will lessen her pain. She did it not just for herself but most specially for Alden. And then, everything was sealed when Alden hugged Maine and kissed her twice on her forehead. That simple gesture of Alden was the one I was waiting for. A closure to the doubts of everyone... and to Maine's doubts as well. (ctto for the pics)
